Tricia M. Dorn, Esq.
Tricia grew up in the Syracuse area. After high school, she moved out of state to attend college and law school. In 2005, Tricia graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's of science degree in psychology from Methodist College in North Carolina. In 2009, she graduated from Barry University School of Law in Florida.

Tricia passed the New York State Bar in 2009. She is currently working under the supervision of attorneys Finocchio & English, preparing legal documents and interacting with clientele.

Rory Gilhooley, Esq.
Mr. Gilhooley grew up in Cortland, NY, and graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Political Science (B.A. 1993).   He attended Syracuse University College of Law and graduated in 2000, ranked in the top 5% of his class (J.D. magna cum laude).  He was selected for admission to the prestigious Order of the Coif and Justinian Law Society.  He was admitted to the New York Bar in 2001.
Mr. Gilhooley has been a Syracuse Police Officer since 1994, serving as a Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division since 2003.  Additionally, he has instructed officers and supervisors from numerous police and Sheriff’s  departments in Onondaga, Oswego, Cortland, and Cayuga Counties and the New York State Police in areas of Search & Seizure, Constitutional Law, and Civil Liability.  
Mr. Gilhooley also worked for two years as a law clerk to the Justices of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, NY.  He currently maintains a general practice of law with a focus on Family Law, Matrimonial Law and Appeals

Patricia "Tish" Touron, Paralegal
Tish graduated from Bryant & Stratton in 1993 and has been with Finocchio & English since 1994. Tish develops relationships with clients to assist in drafting information-sensitive paperwork. She prepares and processes all documentation that is required by the court and maintains an intricate filing system to organize all cases handled for Mr. Finocchio.

Tish has daily contact with high officials of the court system. Tish also maintains the daily operations of the firm, including but not limited to, accounts receivable, accounts payable, client billing, human resources, and payroll.

Kate Thompson
Kate graduated from SUNY Oswego with a B.A. in Political Science and received her Paralegal Certificate from Syracuse University. She previously worked for Finocchio & English from 2002 - 2005. Following that, she was a Confidential Secretary for the Oswego County Attorney and worked as a paralegal for Shanley Law Firm. Kate has recently returned to work for Finocchio & English as Mr. English’s paralegal.

Kate drafts legal documents, analyzes, organizes research materials and information pertinent to the individual cases. She also assists with the preparation for Mr. English’s meetings and court appearances and is a liaison between the clients and Mr. English.

Sadie E. Ward, Administrative Assistant & Receptionist
Sadie graduated in 1997 from Onondaga Community College with honors, and she speaks Spanish fluently. Sadie has been with Finocchio & English since June 2005.

Sadie maintains the initial flow of potential clientele by answering incoming calls.

She also drafts correspondences and assists in processing legal documents. In filling the position of runner, she also hand-delivers sensitive materials.

Cheryl Mann
Cheryl graduated from Morrisville State College in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. She continued her education at Bryant and Stratton and graduated from there in 2009 with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. While there, Cheryl interned with the Attorney General’s office during Andrew Cuomo’s term.

Cheryl specializes in client relations and maintains Mr. English’s calendar and files with a high level of confidentiality. She prepares necessary correspondence and assists in compiling and drafting legal documents.
